Philip Powers
Partner
Philip Powers is co-founder of Paladin Equity, bringing over 30 years of commercial real estate finance and secondary market expertise to the firm's hospitality developments. A Columbia College and NYU Stern MBA graduate, he previously co-founded Sun Capital and held senior leadership roles at Boston Private Bank & Trust.

Over two decades of experience in investment and commercial trade business. Drives family office capital markets relationships with expertise in deal analysis, presentations, and financial reporting, delivering high-yield alternative investment options through an extensive network.
Midi Kimura

20+ years of project delivery experience driving successful outcomes. Previously at Microsoft as an Xbox marketing lead and at CH2M HILL (now Jacobs Engineering), managing projects from inception to construction. BS in Civil Engineering from UCLA, MBA from University of Washington.

Over a decade of experience in commercial real estate investment banking. CFA charter holder, ACCA member, and Registered Investment Advisor. Responsible for financial statement preparation, investment analysis, and company accounting. Previously at Sun Capital alongside Tim Trout.
Tobin Koziol

Leads strategic initiatives, legal and regulatory compliance, and development management for Paladin Multifamily. Previously partnered with Tim Trout on value-add multifamily projects, overseeing renovations, lease-up, and complex legal matters. Holds a BA from UCLA, a JD from USC, and a California real estate broker's license.

Previously managed value-add projects and daily operations across more than 40 multifamily properties at Helix Real Estate Management. A Johns Hopkins International Studies graduate, he holds a California real estate agent's license.
